Bandwidth Trading. Routing Platform

In a neutral location where network operators freely interconnect their networks to exchange traffic, the bandwidth exchange oftenly needs lot of paper works.

The Inter Operator Platform, which consists of a series of applications that apart from being able to provide commands to be processed into routing policies, also provides Bandwidth Exchange Platform facilities for NAPs and ISPs to perform bandwidth transactions digitally.

Inter Operator Platform will enforce bandwidth routing policies and automate the execution and its monitoring on operators. The Platform is also equipped with the bandwidth marketplace which allows the backbone operators to offer bandwidth package to ISP.

In the current situation, the engagement between NAP dan ISP is conducted individually among them. Routing redirection is a common thing that they do.

The routing system must anticipate the link and node failures, requiring redirection of traffic and an update of the databases maintained by the system. Routing needs to modify its routes when some areas within the network become congested.

The idea is to get more efficiency and better traffic monitoring by having engagement among NAPs and ISPs conducted through a single platform.

Additionally, ISPs expect NAPs to be more economically competitive.
